Showing my enamels in California
And more news:
Friday, I heard back from a juried show I applied to a few weeks ago: I was accepted! I’m stunned! I figured this was yet another “practice” submission and that I was throwing my application fee away. Holy crap, they liked it!
The show is the Northern California Enamel Guild’s 10th International Juried Enamel Exhibition, a biennial show; this time, it will be held in a gallery in Oakland. The show opens right after Burning Man… if the timing works out, I may even be able to adjust my travel plans so I can attend the opening reception — we’ll see.
Here’s what I submitted:
They are currently on display in Pratt’s front hallway gallery… so this collection has now been accepted into two juried shows! I nearly didn’t even bother. Just goes to show… might as well try!
Busy week!
