    Join us for First Thursday in Pioneer Square!  It's our semi-annual open house and the denizens at '57 Biscayne are opening our studios to the public.  Come check out some cool art art directly at its source.  Jewelry, letterpress, antique tintype photography, painting, works on paper, and more!

  • Jun  8th - Beginning Jewelry Class

    Jewelry & Metalsmithing 1 - Sunday nights at Pratt Fine Art Center, what a great way to wind down the weekend!  No experience necessary; total beginner and/or intermediate students welcome. Learn to solder, saw, hammer, texture, rivet, and more. We have a lot of fun in my class!

  • Jun 14th - Filigree Workshop

    If you missed it last time, here's your chance: I'm teaching another Filigree workshop at Pratt Fine Art Center!  Learn how to create elegant wirework structures and greatly improve your soldering skills.  We will cover 2 soldering methods: paste solder and dry powdered solder.  Some prior soldering experience required.

  • June 23-27 - Teen Art Week

    I'm excited to be teaching Teen Art Week at Pratt once again!  Teens, this is the best summer class ever: working in a professionally equipped jewelry studio, learning to solder, saw, texture, and create with jewelry metals.  This is a super fun class!

  • Aug 8-9th - Mechanisms: Hinges and Clasps

    Learn how to add movement and functionality to your jewelry creations with this fun and challenging class!  Hinges and clasps present a technical challenge, so much so that we don't even touch them in the beginner class.  Well intermediate students rejoice, here is the class for it!  We will explore many different options for how to approach mechanical elements in jewelry, from the simple to the crazy-intense.  An excellent slump-buster, this class will give you lots of ideas for how to bring your ideas to life!
