Professionally, Norwescon went remarkably well. I was really pleased with the way my artwork turned out and received lots of wonderful feedback. Most amazingly, two of my pieces actually sold! But also: I completely ran out of business cards. To me this is a very positive sign as it means that folks liked my stuff enough to pick up a card; publicity achieved.
Panels were generally okay. Some were definitely more fun than others. Many were definitely in the category of “work.” I felt like I performed well and they were worth it, so they were gratifying in that respect. Hopefully people then went and saw my stuff in the artshow.
Otherwise, sorry to say, not a terribly fun weekend.
